Another fashion week has come and gone and I’ve never seen seen so much fur and so many fun hats in one place! It was absolutely fabulous!

Here’s what I wore to the Mikael D show:

To achieve this look I used 3 of the 4 colours from my Elizabeth Arden “Beautiful Color” eye shadow quad – Lightest all over, with a focus on the inner corner; beige in the middle, and dark brown in the crease for depth.

The key is to really BLEND, and don’t be afraid to go back and add more colour as you continue to blend. I really love this quad because the colours are neutral and can be worn for an everyday look, but also built up for a more dramatic look.

TIP: to figure out how how high to apply the darkest shade, open your eye periodically to see what the shadow looks like when your eyes are open. It’s all a matter of practice, and getting to know the shape of your eyes.

To add drama, I used Annabelle Smoothliner in bronze on my bottom lash line, and the Annabelle Liquid eyeliner on top. I blended some more of the dark brown shade on my bottom lash line as well, and finished the eyes off with some mascara.

My current favorite lipstick is this beautiful Pink Cashmere shade from L’Oreal Colour Riche. It’s absolute perfection!

Needless to say, I made sure to use primer, foundation, and concealer to smooth out the canvas. But you already knew that!
