Today is all about Vegas & the #UltimateVegasOutfit challenge! To me, this is an opportunity to play virtual dress up, and reminisce about my own trip to Vegas. I went to Vegas last year, and the city is as diverse as it is bright! So the Ultimate Vegas Outfit is one that makes you feel comfortable, and confident – whatever that might be. For me it was a purple Le Chateau dress that hit just above the knee, paired with a damask-like necklace and sky high heels to match. The dress was covered yet tight so basically appropriate for any occasion – show, restaurant, wedding. Read more
I hope you had a great Passover, Easter, or just a warm spring long weekend!
I recently picked up this great flowy salmon coloured top from Winners, and I just couldn’t wait to style it. Salmon and coral shades in general are very universal and flattering on all skin colours. Which explains why I’m not waiting to be tan to bust this one out!
I chose to pair it with warm colours in various shades of pinks and oranges, and add a pop of blue with my purse – all with some awesome gold hardware. Read more
Valentine’s Day is 2 days away and it’s a long weekend! That’s 3 days to look fun and flirty!
Do you know what yo’ll be wearing yet? Here are a few friendly tips and suggestions from Lookbook Store:
Crochet Sheath Dress – $30.28!
This shade of burgundy looks good on any skin colour. It’s a beautifully romantic colour fit perfectly for this colder time of year. I absolutely love the feminine shape of this dress and the lace detail. This is the kind of dress that will make me feel good. It’s covered, and isn’t too short, but hugs your curves at just the right places! And for the price? Wow!
I would wear this dress with black tights and likely black high heel boots, along with a fun blazer or beautiful cardigan to stay warm. Read more
Looking cute is a must, but dressing appropriately is paramount! Since Monday to Friday mornings usually consist of attempting to look adorable while pulling something from your closet with your eyes still half shut, anything to calm us down and reclaim some time in the morning is certainly welcome! I find that having an organized work wardrobe is just the ticket! You want to make sure that your pieces are interesting and reflect your personality, but versatile and can be mix-and-matched at the same time.
1. Invest in versatile dresses
Dresses that can go from season to season with the simple addition of a cardigan are a great investment since you’ll get the most use out of them. Pretty much as long as the fabric isn’t too thin and summery you’re good to go!
Hi lovelies! Here’s some outfit inspo for the weekend. I wore this look to the office, but I would totally wear it on the weekend too. I’ve been quite obsessed with these pants lately. I love the colour and how comfortable & fun, yet work appropriate they are at the same time. Black and white with some metallic detailing is of course very easy to pull off with an olive colour but there is plenty more to be paired with these pants! For starters any neutral looks great with olive – think beige, navy, brown, cream etc. At the same time if you consider complimentary colours you can easily pair different shades of orange with olive for a bold fall/winter look. I’ve been loving leather details paired with mixed prints/textures, and now that winter is here it means sweater are in the mix too! What I love about this sweater is the cool puffy shoulders, the fit, and of course how cozy it is! It definitely serves double duty too because I can wear it to work paired with a pencil skirt or dress pants, and on the weekend paired with jeans/colourful skinnys and boots for a more casual look!

Remember my quick how-to guide to mixing patterns? Well I’m still obsessed with mixing prints and patterns, so here’s a look at a fall outfit which does just that!
As I’ve mentioned in past posts, the easiest way to rock mixed prints is by wearing a geometric pattern, stripes in particular, and paring it with a print – finishing the look off with a bold necklace. Make sure that the prints are of different sizes though so you don’t look like an optical illusion!
I hope this trend lasts…I’m quite enjoying it.
Happy Friday guys! Here’s some outfit inspiration for the day. I wore this to a nice dinner, but I would wear it anywhere. Seems like a pretty versatile outfit to me! I love patterns and I love colours, and since my dress was 1 out of the 2 the pop of colour came in the form of colourful burgundy tights! To balance out the black and white dress paired with burgundy tights I added a mellow beige blazer and my new statement necklace
Here’s a little outfit inspiration!
Fall is the best because you can wear anything from any season with just a bit of layering. Here in Toronto it’s long sleeve weather. No need to bust out the bulky sweaters just yet (well there were a few days but we won’t talk about that). It is however the perfect time to start flaunting fall colours!]
I love deep rich hues, and everything leopard… but that’s a different post.
