Hi lovelies! Here’s some outfit inspo for the weekend. I wore this look to the office, but I would totally wear it on the weekend too. I’ve been quite obsessed with these pants lately. I love the colour and how comfortable & fun, yet work appropriate they are at the same time. Black and white with some metallic detailing is of course very easy to pull off with an olive colour but there is plenty more to be paired with these pants! For starters any neutral looks great with olive – think beige, navy, brown, cream etc. At the same time if you consider complimentary colours you can easily pair different shades of orange with olive for a bold fall/winter look. Sometimes I’ll think about my outfits ahead of time…or at least when I’m in the shower in the morning! Not today! I didn’t get enough sleep and I was rushing to work. Getting dressed shouldn’t be hard, and it shouldn’t take forever if you have some basic guidelines to work with.
So here’s what I went with this morning: I picked classic pieces that I knew would work and I would feel comfortable with. I wore my black Le Chateau capris, and a navy cap-sleeve FCUK top. Sounds boring, no? I spiced it up with a coral and gold necklace, (which I actually found in a thrift store a few years ago) and finished the outfit off with Michael Kors flats with gold buckles – which tied the look together. And that’s it. Simple as that! Hopefully this can serve as inspiration to use in your own closet!
